When she’s not in the salon, you’ll likely find Selena curled up with a good book (favorites include The Song of Achilles, Throne of Glass, One Dark Window, and the Vampire Academy series), exploring local shops, gaming, or heading to a concert. She’s also a dedicated collector of vinyl records and books—if it’s got a story or a melody, she’s all about it.

Selena shares her home with her golden retriever, Artemis, who keeps her life full of love and golden fluff. One of her favorite quotes, from Cristina Yang on Grey’s Anatomy, perfectly reflects her empowering approach to life and beauty:
